As our 501c3 status is being created, we are privileged to be fiscally sponsored by Midlands Community Foundation (MCF). You may choose to allocate your donation to our general fund or to one of our specific programs, see below for the list of our programs.
- MCF can accept payments online through their website or checks can be made out to LaLa and mailed to their office.
- Navigate to the MCF page by going to “Current Funds” or “Donate Now” and then search for some portion of “Local Artists. Local Art. (LaLa) Fund” and the fund will appear as an option to select.
- MCF also can receive stock or wire donations, but they will work on a donor-by-donor basis with those as it will be important for them to know when it is coming so MCF can communicate with the bank as well.

Generous local businesses donate their spaces and we curate exhibitions of local artists. We then rent the art from the artists. When an artwork sells to a patron, 90% goes to the artist and 10% goes back to the fund for renting art.
Public art

Lala funds public sculpture and murals. We also facilitate public art purchases and placement for local businesses and organizations. In addition to working with experiences local artists we also mentor emerging artists through the process.

After we do studio visits with artists, they are eligible for grants for supplies, studio rent, residencies and fabrication. Amounts vary based on needs and/or opportunities.

We mentor emerging artists to become professionals. We also mentor established artists if they want to venture into making public art.
